Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions outlined below form the basis of the contract between Global Fitness Education Ltd and yourself. Please read them carefully as a contract is a legally binding agreement and we will refer back to these terms and conditions to resolve any disputes or queries.
- Course enrolments must be made over the phone our via our website, www.globalfitnesseducation.com
- The completed enrolment form contracts you to attend and pay for the course(s) you have enrolled upon.
- Upon enrolment, you be required to pay for the course in full. You will be able to do this in a variety of methods. Your enrolment will only be confirmed once the course fee has been paid. If you would like to take up the option to pay for your course in instalments, you must mention this at the initial enrolment stage. Once agreed upon, the payment amounts and dates will be confirmed in writing.
- Students who have made an agreement to pay in instalments and who are not up to date with those instalments, will not have their course work marked and access to any online account may be restricted until payments recommence. Certificates will only be sent out to students once any outstanding balance is cleared.
- The only exception to the above payment conditions is where payment will be from an approved third party. This may be the case where an employer may be paying the course fee on your behalf. Again, this will be agreed upon at enrolment.
- We understand that occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, students may not be able to attend the course they have enrolled onto. In these cases, every effort will be made to accommodate the change although there may be delays in enrolling students onto an alternative course. A letter of cancellation, that includes the dates that the student will be able to attend, must be received at our Head Office no later than 28 days before the start date of the original course. In such circumstances any fees paid, including the deposit will be transferred to the alternative course. If we are notified less than 28 days before the start date of the course, a £25 admin fee must be paid to move onto an alternative course.
- In the case of cancellations not accompanied by an alternative booking, a refund of fees paid, less a 20% admin fee, will only be made if the written cancellation is received at our Head Office no later than 28 days before the start of the course. No refund will be given for changes or cancellations made with less than 28 days notice.
- Assessments. Please note that for any assessment you must arrive on time. Failure to be punctual may result in you losing your assessment space and require you to reschedule at a cost to you of £50. Some courses require you to bring a participant along to the assessment day to act as class participants for the teaching demonstrations, and failure to do so may result in your assessment being cancelled. This will require you to reschedule and a fee of £50 will apply.
- We endeavour to book quality training venues at convenient times and dates. From time to time, venues and dates may change due to factors out of our control. Furthermore we cannot guarantee that courses will reach the minimum numbers required to run the course and subsequently we may have to reschedule courses and we reserve the right to do this. Where this is the case, notification will be made to you in writing and you will be entitled to a full refund if the alternative options are not convenient for you.
- We reserve the right to remove from any course, students that fail to comply with our standard practices and procedures. We also reserve the right to refuse enrolments, or suggest alternative arrangements, if we believe it will not be in the best interest of the company, other participants or the individual concerned to attend a Global Fitness Education course.
- Applications for all courses which require a pre-requisite qualification must be accompanied by proof of the required qualification.
